Campanet Caves
The Caves of Campanet (“Coves de Campanet”) are a must-visit attraction for families exploring Mallorca. Situated in the north of the island, these stunning caves are located in an unspoiled valley that captures the unique character and charm of rural Majorca. The cave covers an area of 3200 square meters. The self guided tour, of approximately 40 minutes, will take you through beautifully decorated chambers and passageways. Deep in the caves you will see magnificent stalagmites and stalactites sculpted by water throughout millions of years. Their variety, delicacy and colour are truly outstanding. Of scientific interest are the signs of the existence of Henrotius Jordai, an indigenous, carnivorous, blind beetle and the remains of Myotragus Balearicus, an indigenous mammal believed to have gone extinct around 4000 years ago. This tour offers a great experience for the entire family. Besides marveling at the natural beauty of the caves, you and your kids will learn about history and paleontology, making it both an educational and enjoyable visit. After the tour you can relax and enjoy the sun and the beauty of the San Miguel valley from our bar and spacious terrace. Bring your family and discover the hidden wonders of the Caves of Campanet, a perfect blend of adventure, education, and natural beauty.
